Red Milk Snake

April 18, 2003- Monroe Co. IL

You can never get tired of finding Red Milk Snakes.  They are one of the prettiest snakes that I have encountered, and their pattern is extremely variable.  I have seen ones that are blood red, and ones that look orange or yellow.

I've found this species in the following counties:

Monroe Co. IL
Alexander Co. IL
Stoddard Co. MO
Carter Co. MO
